Project Coordinator
Location Address: 888 Birchmount Road 6th Floor, Scarborough - Hybrid - 2x onsite/week - Subject to change: *up to 5 days onsite may be required based on business needs*
Contract Duration: 1 year
Possibility of extension & conversion to FTE
Number of Positions: 1
Schedule Hours: 9am-5:30pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week (Possible OT)
Story Behind the Need
Business group: Vulnerability
As part of the bank’s Cyber Security Operations (CSOps), the Vulnerability Management Operations (VMO) Program is responsible for conducting independent scanning and validation of the Bank’s infrastructure to ensure that it has been configured and maintained in accordance with the Bank’s standards to ensure the ongoing confidentiality, integrity, availability, and continuity of information systems. VMO maintains enterprise processes and services to provide ongoing security assessments which include:
• Vulnerability scans
• Web application scanning assessments including external Web applications.
• Hardening scans
• Reporting of results to responsible Managers and
• Tracking of resolutions, especially of critical and high-risk issues.
The Project coordinator for Vulnerability Management Operations will have a clear understanding of all instances of the scanning performed for the Bank, reporting and the adherence to the bank standards. This person will work with different teams in VMO and around the bank footprint to ensure all projects and initiatives to maintain the service of VMO are completed. Additionally, will work on reporting, presentation of results, escalation of issues identified, project documentation, enhancement of process documents for the team and contributing to the education curve of our organization in security.

• utilizing your technical knowledge to be part of cybersecurity reviews for different type of applications.
• using your organizational skills to manage small, medium and large critical issues communication and documentation.
• creating documentation for processes that maintain operations
•managing projects and activities for cybersecurity that will provide results translated in a better security standing for the bank.
•enjoy taking part in initiatives to contribute to the strategic direction for security related technologies or other controls that need to be put in place to reduce the threat levels to the company.
•effectively breaking down complex technology knowledge & communicating same to non-technical people.
Must Have Skills:
1) 2+ years of experience in managing technical project (ex. Cybersecurity)
2) Knowledge of basic cyber security concepts
3) 1+ years of experience documenting processes
Nice-To-Have Skills:
1) bilingual in Spanish
2) experience working with cloud platforms
3) certifications (CAPPM, GSEC, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CCNA, CompTIA Networking+, ITIL CEH, and OSCP).
4) previous BA experience
Education: College diploma/University degree
Best VS. Average Candidate: The ideal candidate would be ready to learn and able to adapt to change. This person will be working with different stakeholders and needs to be personable. Strong documentation experience and some previous BA experience would be ideal.
