Our public sector healthcare client is seeking a Microsoft Office Onsite Support Remediation Specialist (3+ years) to support transition and remediation of Microsoft 365 Office applications

Join a large-scale Microsoft 365 transition program within a major healthcare environment, ensuring operational continuity across clinical, research, and administrative user groups. This role provides onsite and remote technical services to remediate issues, validate installations, and assist with user migration from legacy Office versions. The position offers exposure to complex enterprise-wide deployment initiatives involving application compatibility, license optimization, and dependency discovery.

Contract, Toronto, Onsite, Working Hours: EST

Must Haves

  • Minimum 3 years in desktop support within a large enterprise environment
  • Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 Apps deployment and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint integration
  • Knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 systems administration
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting Microsoft Access databases
  • Experience troubleshooting VBA macros and Office automation solutions
  • Familiarity with SCCM, Intune, or enterprise deployment tools
  • Background supporting healthcare environments
  • Experience assisting large-scale Microsoft 365 migrations

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and validate Microsoft 365 Office applications
  • Uninstall legacy Office versions and perform recovery support when required
  • Troubleshoot and remediate Office application, licensing, and activation issues
  • Support and test macros, templates, add-ins, and Access-based solutions
  • Identify and document dependencies, including shared devices and generic accounts
  • Provide desk-side and remote end user support throughout transition activities
  • Maintain accurate documentation, tracking, and reporting of remediation actions
