Duration: 7 months to start

Location: Markham - Hybrid (2 days/week)


Lead the planning and delivery of impactful marketing initiatives and campaigns that support the promotion of insurance products and propositions.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Minimum 7 years experience in a marketing, communications or project management role.
  • Insurance or financial services experience preferred.
  • B2B (or broker) marketing experience an asset.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), problem solving and decision making skills
  • Strong attention to detail and analytic skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage a number of competing priorities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and teamwork skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or some other related field preferred.



ACCOUNTABILITIES:


Join us as our next Marketing Lead and take the reins on exciting campaigns and initiatives that drive results. You’ll be at the heart of our marketing efforts-leading initiatives, shaping strategy, and partnering with teams across the business to bring bold ideas to life. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Marketing Lead will play a pivotal role in driving the development and completion of various marketing initiatives and campaigns across the business.

  • Campaign Strategy & Implementation: A balanced mix of strategy development and hands-on implementation - bringing plans to life from ideation to reporting.
  • Diverse Campaigns: Lead bothB2B and B2C campaigns, ensuring our strategic goals are met across various audiences. Primary focus will be on B2B via our broker channel.
  • Campaign Performance: Drive campaign performance through a test-and-learn approach to inform ongoing optimization.
  • Drive Innovation: Leverage your creativity to develop innovative marketing solutions that drive top line growth and audience engagement
  • Collaborative Environment: Join a group of skilled professionals who combine creative thinking with a passion for meaningful results.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project Execution: Develop detailed project plans to manage timelines and execution across multiple channels.
  • Strategy Development: Build and implement marketing strategies that support business needs and objectives.
  • Planning and Goal Setting: Set clear KPIs for all campaigns, projects, and initiatives to measure success and report insights back to key stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment.
  • Liaising with Business Units: Collaborate with business units to define, develop, and implement effective tactics and deliverables.
  • Digital Team Collaboration: Partner with digital teams to ensure our digital platforms and touch points effectively achieve campaign objectives.
  • Translation and Legal Coordination: Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards by working closely with legal teams, and guarantee language accuracy by coordinating with the translations team.


Key Marketing Channels & Deliverables:

  • Digital/Social: Collaborate with the Digital Performance team to develop and execute strategies focused on brand awareness, audience engagement, lead generation, and conversion across multiple platforms.
  • Marketing Collateral: Create and manage a variety of assets including brochures, e-newsletters, product guides, and digital campaign materials to support marketing and sales efforts.
