We are seeking a Junior QA Analyst to support manual testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities across a range of business applications.

This contract is six months to start with the strong possibility for extension. Preference given to local Calgary candidates who are willing to be in office 2 days per week and the other 3 from home.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career - either with 1+ year of experience or a recent graduate with co-op/internship experience - to gain hands-on exposure to testing practices, stakeholder collaboration, and real-world project delivery.

You’ll work closely with business users and project teams to execute test cases, document results, and help ensure solutions meet business requirements

Must have:

• 0-2 years of experience in Quality Assurance / manual testing, or relevant co-op / internship experience
• Understanding of manual testing processes, including test case execution and defect identification
• Experience supporting or participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify, document, and track issues/defects
• Exposure to Jira and/or Zephyr
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business users
• Ability to follow defined processes and work collaboratively in a team environment

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman
• Exposure to test automation frameworks such as Playwright
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) or Agile environments
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders during UAT
