Our client is seeking an Intermediate Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator to manage and optimize enterprise marketing automation operations using Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Join a digital marketing operations team supporting scalable and data-driven campaign enablement within a major player in the power and utilities sector. This role focuses on platform administration, governance, and automation across business units with high visibility to marketing and IT stakeholders. The position offers ownership over core Marketing Cloud data management, integration, and process optimization initiatives that directly improve campaign speed, reliability, and attribution accuracy.


If located in AB, one is able to go into the Calgary or Edm offices if desired

Must Haves

  • 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) administration experience
  • Strong expertise in Contact Builder, Data Extensions, Automation Studio, and Journey Builder
  • Proficiency with SQL for segmentation and data transformation
  • Experience with CRM integrations (Salesforce preferred) and API-based data flows
  • Understanding of UTM tracking, attribution models, and digital marketing lead flows

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Data Cloud (CDP) or advanced segmentation use cases
  • Familiarity with AEM Sites, Webflow, or similar CMS platforms
  • Knowledge of email deliverability best practices
  • Experience with Supermetrics, GA4, or analytics reporting
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Salesforce Marketing Cloud environments, roles, permissions, and security settings
  • Manage governance frameworks, naming conventions, and asset organization standards
  • Design, build, and maintain Data Extensions and Contact Builder models
  • Support data ingestion via APIs, automations, and integrations
  • Enable marketing teams with campaign and journey execution
  • Develop and manage automations, SQL queries, and triggered sends
  • Ensure accurate tracking setup and support integration with analytics platforms
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and process flows
  • Provide onboarding support and best practice guidance to internal teams
