Intermediate Dynamics 365 Developer to design, develop, configure, and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions for a non-profit client

Our valued non-profit client is seeking an Intermediate D365 Developer to design, develop, configure, and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions!

Initial 3-month contract opportunity with possibility of extension. 100% remote in Ottawa, ON (Eastern Standard Time). 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday. Part-time options may be available.

As the successful candidate you will review the client's existing environment, redesign and optimize hubs, and provide recommendations rooted in current Microsoft best practices. The consultant will be key in enhancing the user experience, improving search functionality, and helping unlock value from SharePoint and the broader Microsoft ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, configure, and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
• Manage system administration, security model configuration, and user role management within D365.
• Lead or support end-to-end implementations of D365 CRM modules - from requirement gathering and solution design to deployment and post-implementation support.
• Develop and maintain custom plug-ins, workflows, and integrations using C#, JavaScript, and D365 SDKs.
• Build and optimize Power Platform components, including model-driven apps, Power Automate flows, and Power Apps, leveraging Dataverse for scalable data solutions.
• Design and implement data migration and system integrations across Dynamics 365, external systems, and third-party APIs.

Must-have Skills:

• MS Dynamics 365 product knowledge: system administration, security model, configuration and customization, interfacing, data migration and integration; end-to-end module implementation
• Implementation of MS Dynamics CRM, with a strong functional knowledge and understanding of D365 CRM
• Strong programming experience with C#
• In-depth experience with MS Power Platform
• Microsoft Azure
• PowerShell
• Entra and B2C
• Strong understanding of DataVerse solutions including model-drive apps, Power Automate flows, etc.
• ALM tools including Visual Studio, PostMan, Azure DevOps and XRMToolBox

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with MS Modules including Customer Service, Sales, Customer Journey and Insights
• Azure Development (Azure functions, Function Apps, Key Vault, App Insight, API management, App services etc.)
• JavaScript
• Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps, SQL Server
