Int./Sr. Systems Administrator with experience managing enterprise applications, integrations, and data workflows to improve efficiency and reliability.

Our client is looking for a "Permanent" Int/Sr Systems Administrator with experience supporting enterprise applications, managing system integrations, and optimizing data workflows to improve operational efficiency and system reliability.

This role is well suited for someone who has worked in a small to mid-sized organization with a complex technology environment, where they were responsible for multiple systems and gained a deep understanding of how applications, data, integrations, and business operations connect. You'll be comfortable moving between systems administration, troubleshooting, automation, vendor coordination, and operational process improvement as needed.

We're looking for someone who understands the bigger picture of how technology enables the business and can bridge the gap between systems, data, and day-to-day operations.

Must Haves:

• 5+ years of experience supporting Enterprise Systems, Business Applications, Integrations, and IT operations in a complex environment
• Experience working in a small to mid-sized organization with broad responsibility across multiple systems and technologies
• Strong understanding of how business applications, data flows, and operational processes connect across an organization
• Hands-on experience with identity and access management (Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and/or Google Workspace)
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting system integrations, data flows, and automation workflows (API, file-based, or hybrid integrations)
• PowerShell scripting and automation experience
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with SIS, ERP, or other enterprise business applications in a multi-system environment
• Experience working with APIs, REST integrations, and data formats (JSON, XML, CSV)
• Experience with SQL or database troubleshooting (e.g., SQL Server or Azure SQL)
• Familiarity with automation tools and platforms (Power Automate, scripting, scheduled workflows)
• Knowledge of data governance, privacy requirements, or information security frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS)
• Experience in education, public sector, or multi-site organizations

Responsibilities:

• Manage and support enterprise systems and identity platforms, ensuring reliable access, security, and lifecycle management across users and roles
• Oversee and improve system integrations and data flows between enterprise applications, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability of information across platforms
• Provide senior-level troubleshooting for application issues, integration failures, and cross-system operational problems
• Partner with operational teams to understand workflows and translate them into efficient, automated, and scalable system processes
• Identify and reduce reliance on manual processes, legacy integrations, and fragmented data workflows through automation and system improvements
• Maintain documentation of system dependencies, integration maps, and operational workflows to support governance and continuity
