Duration: 10/15/2025 to 10/14/2026 - 1 year
Extension possible: No
Work Location: 4 days in office as November, Toronto, Ontario
Scope of Project: project to go live in 2026 - application moving from current to new application, BAU process - work on that
Team Size/Culture: 2 senior analyst, 2 junior analyst and 1 contractor
CANDIDATE PROFILE DETAILS:
Degree/Certifications Required: post secondary degree, FRM, CFA nice to have, Masters is nice to have
Years of Overall Experience: 5-7 years
Ideal Candidate Background: inquisitive, willing to learn, go beyond and investing and problem solving
SUMMARY OF DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Perform ad-hoc analyses of specific metrics/exposures/transactions as required by management and stakeholders.
· Managing operational risk (e.g., cross-training, documentation, and audit).
· Ensure internal control processes are adequate and documented
MUST-HAVE
1.) analysis of risk exposure
2.) understanding of financial products - security financing transitions (repo, reverse repo, security lending)
3.) understanding of the comprehensive approach and SACCR methodology
NICE-TO-HAVE
1.) Python and SQL
