LOB: Project Delivery - Commercial Lending Ops

Duration: 12 months to start

Location: Hybrid (Downtown Toronto - 1 day a week)

Focus will be on Operations Project Management, not IT Project Management. Focus on PMLC rather than SDLC. Scope will include multiple initiatives related the booking of Letters of Credit between various Commercial and I&CB applications. Operational deliverables will include overseeing operational deliverables tied to Stakeholder Assessments, Change Management, Process Documentation Updates, Training Requirements, etc..

Leads assigned projects from project initiation to implementation to achieve desired business results. Ensures that a successful business outcome is the prime measure of project success including delivering projects on time, within budget, within quality standards and to the satisfaction of the project sponsor. Drives to mitigate execution risk to achieve the desired business outcomes. Understands the business/group and facilitates communication with other program/project managers and stakeholders efficiently and effectively. Directs, manages, and coordinates team members including other project managers, business and technology resources, user groups, internal and external consultants and contractors, as well as vendors and external regulatory organizations.

Must Have Skills:

• 5+ years as Project Manager with Operations experience.
• Understanding of how processes and operations can be made efficient
• Understanding of change management and process oriented
• Proactive in nature
• Knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools (e.g. Clarity, MS Project,)
• Knowledge of waterfall and agile methodologies, relationship management and consulting skills, solid presentation,
• Will be supporting letter of credit team
• Commercial Banking Operations/IBOR/LIBOR or Cap Markets exp
• Banking exp
