Int. Program Change Office Manager to establish governance and change control for S/4HANA transformation for our financial services client
Duration: 12 Months (+12 Month Extension)
Location: Toronto (Hybrid, 3x/week onsite)
Overview:
Our client requires an Intermediate Program Change Office Manager to support their S/4HANA transformation program, reporting to the Technical Program Manager. This role will establish and maintain the change control framework, release management processes, and program governance structures across 5 work packages. The successful candidate will ensure proper controls while enabling agile delivery within the program's waterfall framework.
Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain change control processes for scope, schedule, and budget changes
Coordinate release planning and management across all work packages and environments
Maintain program RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) in collaboration with PMs
Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and document decisions
Develop and maintain program governance documentation and decision logs
Support configuration management processes for S/4HANA environments
Track and report on change metrics and their impact on program timeline and budget
Coordinate with quality assurance teams on testing windows and release criteria
Ensure compliance with the client's IT governance and regulatory requirements
Support cutover planning and coordinate production release activities
Must Haves:
6+ years experience in Program/Project Management Office roles
Strong experience with change management processes in SAP implementations
Knowledge of release management practices for complex ERP programs
Experience supporting programs using hybrid methodologies (waterfall/agile)
Understanding of SAP transport management and configuration control
Proficiency with JIRA, Clarity, and SharePoint for program management
Experience in financial services or regulated industries
Strong analytical and documentation skills
Ability to facilitate governance meetings with senior stakeholders
Nice to Haves:
ITIL or PRINCE2 certification
Previous S/4HANA migration experience
Knowledge of insurance operations
Experience with SmartSheet or MS Project
Understanding of cloud deployment considerations
