Position Title: Business Data Consultant

Line of Business: Operational Risk management

What does the LOB do?: The Risk management team is focused on non-financial risk (third party, fraud).

What project will this contractor be working on? OSFI E-21 regulation initiative

Target Start Date: May 5th, 2025

Duration: 6 Months

Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid - Onsite Wednesday and Thursday

Office Location: 81 Bay 29th Floor

Responsibilities:

• Develop metric for the purposes of reporting and writing reporting requirements which are provided to the tech partners who will build out reports.
• Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
• Gathers requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers
• Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation
• Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
• Supports one or more highly complex business processes
• Works on multiple projects as a project team member
• Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs

Must Have Requirement:

• 3+ years' of experience as a Business Data Consultant
• Has operational resilience knowledge and experience working with data
• Experience with reporting solution design
• 3+ years' experience developing metrics (KPIs & KRIs)

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge in operational risk management
• OSFI experience would be helpful
• 3rd party risk, fraud, cyber, incident reporting knowledge would be great
• Banking experience preferred
• CBAP
• PowerBI experience
