Job Description: Position Title: Application Support Analyst - Intermediate

Duration: 12 Months

Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid, 1 days on site everyday (Every Tuesday, and second Friday of the month)

Office Location: 81 Bay


Line of Business: Global Derivatives and Fixed Income Technology

What does the LOB do: Our primary mandate is to provide end-to-end operational support for all derivative products. We also manage a variety of security maintenance activities This team is considered operations. Deal with developers that work with the traders. Foreign exchange etc.


Job Description:

Investigate and resolve operational and technical issues across production environments. Prioritize incidents based on severity, business impact, and urgency. Maintain comprehensive issue logs and manage escalations, including providing 24x7 support when required. Coordinate recovery efforts during outages and ensure timely resolution to maintain client satisfaction. Act as a liaison between technology teams, business units, QA, and project stakeholders. Communicate technology standards, operational policies, and system updates to business partners.

Project Delivery: Serve as a subject matter expert for system changes, enhancements, and strategic initiatives. Ensure all solutions comply with business requirements, security protocols, and privacy regulations. Research and recommend proactive solutions to prevent system outages and drive process improvements.

This role is focused on ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of production applications through expert technical support, rapid issue resolution, and continuous improvement. Strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and a client-first mindset are essential.


Must Have Requirement:

• 4 years’ overall experience

• Strong knowledge of UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS

• Proficiency in OpenShift container orchestration

• Familiarity with enterprise tools including ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence

• Experience with job scheduling tools like Autosys

• Knowledge of data integration platforms such as Feedhub (Axway)

• Proven expertise in incident management and resolution


Nice to Have:

• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell, PowerShell)

• Exposure to artificial intelligence concepts

• Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Ansible)

• Working knowledge of database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle)

• Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics)

• Understanding of ITIL practices and service management frameworks

• Strong communication skills for incident reporting and stakeholder engagement

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
