Description
Location: Hamilton, ON (Hybrid - 2 days/week in office - Tues/Weds)
Duration: 3-4 Month Contract
Hours: 35 hours/week
We’re looking for an Active Directory Specialist to support an infrastructure project. The role involves hands-on management of Active Directory, SCCM, and Intune environments to maintain secure, efficient, and reliable systems.
- Manage and maintain Active Directory users, groups, and permissions
- Support SCCM for software deployment, patching, and workstation management
- Administer Intune for mobile device and endpoint configuration
- Troubleshoot AD replication, authentication, and group policy issues
- Assist with system updates, security compliance, and performance tuning
- Document changes and support day-to-day IT operations
- Collaborate with the infrastructure and security teams on related initiatives
- 5 years of experience in Active Directory administration
- Strong knowledge of Group Policy, DNS, and AD replication
- Hands-on experience with SCCM for patching, imaging, and deployment
- Experience with Microsoft Intune for device and endpoint management
- Understanding of security best practices for identity and access management
- Ability to troubleshoot across Windows environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
