Our client is looking for an Intermediate Test Specialist to support ongoing project Development on new applications for a Public sector client.

Must Have's:

• 5+ years experience as a Test Analyst
• 5+ years of experience in regression, system, integration, and exploratory testing
• 5+ years of experience in building and executing automated test scripts
• 3+ years of experience working with end users to assist with User Acceptance Testing
• 2+ years of experience developing automated test scripts using tools like Cypress, Playwright, and/or Junit
• 2+ years of experience working within an Agile team

Responsibilities:

Testing: Collaborate with a cross-functional Agile team to test both the application front-end and APIs

Client Interaction: Work directly with the client and follow their direction as appropriate

Analysis: Think beyond immediate solutions to identify all impacts and risks

Review: Analyze business and technical specifications

Test Plans: Create quality test plans and both manual and automated scripts

Execution: Execute test scripts and review results

Reporting: Document technical issues and report bugs to developers

Troubleshooting: Assist in troubleshooting issues.

Self-Starter: Ability to work with minimal supervision after training

Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a remote team

Issue Identification: Ability to identify issues and risks, as well as quality and scope deviations

Nice to Have's:

Usability and Compatibility Testing: Experience with usability and compatibility testing

Public Sector: Experience working with the public sector

Location - Anywhere in Canada. Remote

Utilization - 50% (part-time role).
