Senior Salesforce Solutions Architect with Financial Services Cloud Experience to support one of our major banking clients- 40200

Location Address: Toronto - hybrid - onsite 3x/week

Contract Duration: 6 months (Contract to Perm. - HM will be converting resource after 6 months contract duration is completed)

Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week (Possible OT)

The Salesforce Solutions Architect is responsible for architecture, design, and development on Salesforce platform for complex business and technology initiatives for our various lines of business, day to day operations of Salesforce applications, providing thought leadership, navigating us through designs, architecture governance and application roadmaps. As technical leader, architect is expected to assist teams in solving production issues and supporting team with investigations and being a key advocate of efficiency and continual improvement as we work to modernize.

Typical Day in Role:

• Analyze and estimate effort for new scope and requirements.

• Architect, Design and Develop on Salesforce platform on multiple complex initiatives, and operations and stability of the application ecosystem.

• Stay abreast of modern technologies and best practices and recommend introduction of new technology and processes.

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert and manage admin functions for Salesforce platform.

• Support the business team on the proper use of the Salesforce by focusing on configuration rather than customization.

• Investigate failures, perform root cause analysis and implement fixes; utilize internal defect tracking tool to create detailed, high quality error report.

• Work with product owners and test engineers to support QA processes, review test plans, test coverage and help improve test automation.

• Provide technical oversight and mentor Salesforce engineers, ensuring quality deliverables.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

1. 10 + years of experience in Enterprise platforms primarily Salesforce with 5+ years of experience in FSC (Financial Services Cloud)

2. 7+ years of Salesforce Architecture experience (Deep understanding of Salesforce features including Apex programming, Lightning components and integration patterns.)

3. 6+ years of experience Integrating Salesforce with other cloud-based application systems using REST, SOAP API, Talend, Informatica.

4. Knowledge of deployment processes and release pipelines primarily leveraging Bitbucket, Azure DevOps

5. At least one Salesforce Architect certification: Salesforce Application Architect, Salesforce System Architect (certifications will be checked and validated)

6. 4+ years of experience in owning architectural solution and design documents

Nice-To-Have Skills:

1. Experience with Marketing Cloud

2. experience implementing AI capabilities within Salesforce

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent required.

Best VS. Average Candidate:

-strong background as a Salesforce Architect within the Financial Industry (top 5 banks in Canada)

-strong written/verbal communication skills
