Location: Toronto/Hybrid (2 Days a Week onsite)

Duration: 6 Months (Must Convert to Perm)

Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week

FTE Salary: 100-130K - with 10-12% bonus structure - 3-4 weeks’ vacation + personal/medical days - competitive benefits

The Team: Global Banking and Markets Engineering (GBME) is the fast-moving, award-winning technology engine that powers bank’s Corporate, Investment Banking, and Capital Markets businesses.

The Role: GBME is seeking a Delivery Lead to play a pivotal role in a large-scale clearing transformation initiative, including the establishment of bank (SCUSA) as a Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) for client trades.

This program represents a significant evolution of our clearing capabilities, moving beyond the current internal FCM model and assessing new vendor platforms as existing solutions approach end-of-life. The initiative will span a complex, interconnected application landscape, supporting client clearing across multiple market exchanges.

The successful candidate will act as a technology execution lead, owning end-to-end delivery across analysis, build, testing, and operational readiness. This role requires a rare blend of deep technical analysis, delivery leadership, and stakeholder orchestration, operating with discipline, pace, and accountability.

Key Skills & Experience Required

Key Responsibilities:

· Drive end-to-end technology execution across multiple applications, engaging technology owners and stakeholders.

· Facilitate comprehensive requirements gathering across business and technology teams, translating needs into actionable specifications.

· Partner with project managers throughout testing, implementation, and post-go-live validation.

· Support operational readiness, ensuring smooth transition to production and sustainable ongoing operations.

· Maintain alignment across diverse teams, foster effective collaboration, and manage delivery risks and dependencies.

As part of the role, you’ll

· Demonstrate an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities.

· Ensure business specifications/requirements documentation is accurately prepared and comprehensive to support sizing/development efforts and as input to various project documentation.

· Participate in the development of detailed project plans, the monitoring of progress against planned objectives, the financial review, and securing consensus and co-operation from users and senior management.

· Work closely across GBME technology teams during all stages of the system development life cycle and bridge the gap between business and technology sides of the solution.

· Build relationships and communicate effectively with colleagues in Global regions.

· Support production issues and handle escalations during Release cycles as needed.

· Perform ad hoc work as needed

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

1) 7+ years in capital markets technology, with strong trade lifecycle and clearing knowledge

2) 3+ years leading cross-functional delivery teams in complex environments

3) Program/project management experience with ability to create project plans

3) 3+ years’ hands-on experience with SQL and Unix/Linux

Nice-To-Have Skills:

1) Proven ability to operate in regulated, high-risk environments and drive business outcomes.
