Role & Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain detailed schedules using Primavera P6 for various phases of the refurbishment project, including design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
  • Integrate contractor and internal schedules to produce a master integrated project schedule (IPS).
  • Conduct critical path analysis and identify schedule risks and opportunities.
  • Perform schedule updates and revisions to reflect actual progress and changes in scope or sequencing.
  • Provide "what-if" scenario analyses to support decision-making and schedule optimization.
  • Interface with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project management teams to gather input and validate schedule assumptions.
  • Generate regular progress reports, dashboards, and KPIs for project and executive stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining earned value management (EVM) metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with procedures, regulatory requirements (e.g., CNSC), and project controls best practices.
  • Support project risk management through the identification and mitigation of schedule-related risks.

Qualifications / Requirements
To succeed in this role, you bring:
  • Post-secondary education in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of scheduling experience in large infrastructure projects, ideally in nuclear or other regulated sectors.
  • Proficient in Primavera P6; experience with TILOS, MS Project, and project controls systems (e.g., EcoSys, SAP) is an asset.
  • Solid understanding of construction work packaging, WBS development, and schedule integration.
  • Familiarity with processes and nuclear refurbishment lifecycle is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of project management frameworks (PMI, AACEI) and earned value principles.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work on-site, with security clearance eligibility.
