Pearson Student Ambassador

Our Story:

As the world’s leading learning company, we are proud to partner with people in the moments that matter throughout their lives, and help them realise the life they imagine through learning. We provide a range of products and services, from digital learning tools and assessments to educational content and qualifications, supporting students, educators, and institutions around the world!

What is the Student Ambassador Program?

The Pearson Student Ambassador (PSA) program is an exciting highly selective student leadership initiative that offers you real professional experience representing Pearson on campus. As a PSA, you will act as a bridge between Pearson and your college community, promoting Pearson’s innovative digital learning solutions and helping your peers succeed academically.

You’ll join a team of students from over 100 campuses worldwide, working toward a common goal of improving education and student success, aligning with Pearson’s mission to help people make progress through learning.

This program is designed to expand your network and build your skills in marketing, communication, and leadership as you champion Pearson’s digital tools at your university or college.

What you’ll be doing:

As a Pearson Student Ambassador, your responsibilities will include:

Promote Pearson’s Digital Solutions - Lead engaging demos and presentations for students and faculty to showcase how to use Pearson’s technology products (e.g., MyLab, Mastering, Revel eTextbooks).

Organize Campus Events - Host on campus or virtual events (workshops, info sessions, study nights, etc.) that will create a buzz and help students learn how to get the most out of Pearson’s digital learning solutions.

Student Support and Onboarding - Serve as a friendly resource for students by assisting with product registration, setup, and troubleshooting. You’ll help your peers get signed up and started with Pearson products, getting them started on the right foot!

Hear from students - Gather feedback from students about Pearson products through surveys, focus groups, or one on one conversations to understand what’s working and what could be improved.

Campus Outreach - Work closely with Pearson’s teams to promote new and existing products and initiatives on your campus. This might include distributing marketing materials, creating social media content, or spreading the word about Pearson’s offerings.

Training and Meetings - Participate in regular conference calls, trainings, and team meetings with Pearson staff and fellow PSAs… a chance to grow your network!

Collaborate with Pearson Regional Leads - Work closely with regional PSA leads to help make the program more successful, sharing insights and best practices.

Qualifications:

We are looking for enthusiastic, responsible student leaders who meet the following criteria:

Current Full-Time Student - Enrolled full time in an undergraduate program, ideally as a freshman, sophomore, or junior (at least one academic year remaining before graduation).

Time Commitment - Ability to commit 5-10 hours per week to the ambassador role for one academic year (two semesters). Preference is given to students who can continue until graduation.

Academic Standing - Good academic record, demonstrating solid academic performance.

Strong Communicator - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - you’re comfortable speaking to small and large groups and can engage peers and faculty with enthusiasm and confidence.

Self-Motivated and Independent - Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently without daily supervision. You can manage your own projects and time effectively while balancing school responsibilities.

Passionate about Education and Technology - Genuine enthusiasm for helping others learn. Familiarity with Pearson’s products (such as MyLab, Mastering, Revel, or eTextbooks) is a plus - you should be eager to learn and advocate for these digital learning tools. Extracurricular activities are also a plus!

What’s in it for you?

Being a Pearson Student Ambassador is a paid position, but there’s a lot more in it for you!

Free Pearson Products - Receive complimentary access to Pearson digital learning materials - for example, free access codes for Pearson eTextbooks and platforms like MyLab, Mastering, and Revel.

Professional Development - Take part in exclusive training sessions and mentorship opportunities. Pearson will provide you with ongoing training, resources, and a solid support system to help you succeed in your role!

Exclusive Recognition - Earn official recognition as a Pearson Student Ambassador, which comes with a certificate or digital badge from Pearson. This experience strengthens your resume and LinkedIn profile, giving you an edge in future job or graduate school applications.

Why Join the Program?

Joining the PSA program is not just a job - it’s an opportunity to grow and stand out.

1-Professional Skill Development - Build highly marketable skills in communication, public speaking, marketing, and event management. You’ll gain hands-on experience that most students don’t have before graduation!

2-Leadership Experience - Take on a leadership role on campus. You’ll coordinate projects, lead events, and guide your peers - all of which develop leadership, project management, and teamwork abilities.

3-Resume Booster - Stand out to future employers with a unique role at a global education company. Being a Pearson Student Ambassador demonstrates initiative, professional experience, and a proven ability to drive results… which can help jump start your career!

This program gives you the chance to positively impact your campus. You’ll help fellow students succeed by improving their understanding of Pearson’s tools and resources. Your contributions will enhance the learning experience at your university and influence Pearson’s future products to better serve students like you.
