Summary:

Reporting to the Senior Director of Sales, the Senior Key Account Manager is the key customer contact responsible for effectively merging Private Label customer requirements for IVC Vita Health. This is a customer-facing role, and the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing Loblaws Canada Limited and Shoppers Drug Mart plus defined accounts leading the day-to-day activities to ensure client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will be located in the greater Toronto area, if outside of that, travel to customer’s onsite will be required.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities will include:

· Advance customer relationships, with key influencers.

· Execute regular meetings with customer contacts to refresh on business conditions (sales performance, etc.), while identifying opportunities. Attain agreement on action items and timelines.

· Promptly follow-up internally (IVC Vita Health) and externally (customer) to reach positive outcomes quickly.

· Achieve customer consensus of short- and long-range business plans that are consistent with IVC Vita Health objectives and KPI targets.

· Use effective communication and time management skills to engage IVC Vita Health cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.

· Align on SMART annual budgets for sales target. Provide customers with sales results vs. objectives (monthly, quarterly, and annually).

· With the support of the IVC Vita Health team manage forecast adjustments from promo activity, planogram changes, lists/delists, store openings/closings and other related activities.

· Monitor sales vs. forecast. Make concrete recommendations to fill gaps and maximize opportunities.

· Manage customer spend/deductions to budget. Promptly execute steps for reclamation as required.

· Coordinate all action items relating to new product launches, product changes, sku rationalization, etc. to maximize total sales and nullify financial liabilities. Overall responsibility for successfully implementing the change to the expectation of all parties.

· Support the execution of price adjustments including all administrative activities.

· Track, measure, and communicate competitive retail activity including pricing, merchandising and new products.

· Pinpoint threats and measure potential impact to IVC Vita Health sales targets and/or KPI performance.

· Other duties may be assigned as required

Qualifications & Experience Required:

· Proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships.

· 4 to 8 years’ experience in a sales management role. Preferably with experience dealing with major retailers LCL/SDM considered an asset for this role

· Category management and/or private label experience an asset.

· Analytical and advanced computer skills specifically with MS Office with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.

· Knowledge and understanding of OTC/Vitamins while not required is an asset

Education, Certification, Licenses & Registrations:

· Degree or Diploma in Business or related sales experience

This position is looking for someone who lives in the Toronto Area. Regular travel would be needed to and from Toronto if not already located in the GTA.
