With a strong history of representing clients in innumerable complex legal disputes throughout the country, they are now looking for an experienced litigation lawyer to join their very busy specialty litigation group, specifically for indigenous and environmental disputes.

Compensation

• $130,000 - $185,000, commensurate with experience

Responsibilities
The incumbent lawyer will be stepping into a busy practice and will need to be capable of hitting the ground running. The ideal candidate will be someone who can manage a variety of high level, complex disputes involving matters such as economic development disputes, project approvals, environmental management matters, and more, all within an indigenous context.

Qualifications

• Be called to the BC Bar and be in good standing
• 2+ years of post call experience, with an emphasis on indigenous / environmental law
• Comfortable with a 1750 annual billable target
