Senior Family Lawyer

A well - regarded and expanding Vancouver litigation boutique is seeking a talented and seasoned family law lawyer to join their busy team. Known historically for their expertise within ICBC defense this firm has nimbly diversified their practice into multiple areas of litigation. They provide the ability to work 100% remotely and senior lawyers dedicated to mentorship. Additionally, they understand everyone’s life circumstances are different and offer reduced billable targets.

• $170,000+ commensurate with experience

Responsibilities:
The incumbent lawyer will be stepping into a busy family law practice alongside 3 other members of the team. The ideal individual would bring with them enough experience to help continue the growth and development of this practice group. A portable book of business would be highly appreciated as well, but not necessary. The immediate work would involve a wide range of family law matters, including but not limited to divorces and separations, child and spousal support, parenting issues, complex property divisions, and more.

Qualifications:

• Be called to the BC bar and be in good standing
• 8 years post call experience. Strong emphasis in family law would be considered a strong asset
• Comfortable with a billable target of 1650
