Commercial Litigation Associate

A well - regarded and expanding Vancouver litigation boutique is seeking a talented senior commercial litigation lawyer to join their growing team. Known historically for their expertise within ICBC defense this firm has nimbly diversified their practice into multiple areas of litigation. They provide the ability to work 100% remotely and senior lawyers dedicated to mentorship. Additionally, they understand everyone’s life circumstances are different and offer reduced billable targets.

Responsibilities
The incumbent lawyer will be stepping into a busy litigation practice The work will involve a wide range of general commercial litigation matters, including but not limited to shareholder and partnership disputes, construction disputes, professional and occupier’s liability, real estate disputes, and more. Ideally the incoming lawyer would thrive autonomously and in collaboration with other members of the team.

Qualifications

• Be called to the BC Bar and be in good standing
• 4+ years of post call experience with litigation. Focused commercial litigation experience considered a strong asset
