The Sales Representative, Industrial Sector is responsible for the development and management of a territory covering the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and the entire province of Ontario. The role is structured around two complementary areas: on one hand, managing and growing an existing industrial customer base (distributors, wholesalers, industrial accounts) while prospecting new accounts; on the other hand, recruiting and supporting authorized service centers capable of selling, repairing, and maintaining products from the OPE (Outdoor Power Equipment) line. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining and increasing sales within the territory, expanding the distribution network, and ensuring high-quality commercial support to all partners.
Responsabilities
Network Development
- Identify, target, and recruit new service centers, distributors, and industrial clients across the Ontario territory.
- Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements (commercial terms, sales targets, product lines).
- Develop and implement strategies for network growth and territorial expansion.
Partner Management and Support
- Maintain strong, proactive relationships with network partners.
- Train and inform partners on OPE products (technical features, maintenance, repair, competitive advantages).
- Propose tailored marketing solutions to partners using Garant’s marketing tools catalog.
- Monitor partner sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
Analysis and Reporting
- Track and analyze territory performance (sales, network coverage, competitive activity).
- Prepare visit reports, market analyses, and partner follow-ups.
- Ensure accurate and consistent CRM updates (visits, opportunities, follow-ups).
Representation
- Represent Garant at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Act as a brand ambassador across the entire territory.
