The Sales Representative is responsible for developing and supporting the growth of the company’s manufactured products within the Toronto area. The role requires a proactive field presence, the development of long-term business relationships, and acting as a strategic point of contact between customers and internal teams. This position involves close monitoring of sales performance, continuous market analysis, and the ability to respond quickly to market trends and customer needs in order to optimize results and customer satisfaction.

Responsabilities

  • Establish, develop, and maintain strong business relationships with customers.
  • Understand customers’ needs, challenges, and objectives in order to propose tailored, value-added commercial solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers and ensure ongoing follow-up regarding their satisfaction.
  • Monitor sales performance within the assigned territory using key performance indicators and analyze results based on market trends.
  • Respond quickly to market fluctuations, purchasing behaviors, and customer requests by adjusting sales strategies as needed.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports, performance analyses, and recommendations for management.
  • Contribute to the achievement or surpassing of the company’s established sales targets.
  • Promote the company’s products, including new product launches, at trade shows, industrial fairs, and other promotional events.
  • Ensure proper presentation of products and the company’s brand image at events and points of sale.
  • Provide customers and in-store staff with detailed information on products, including features, benefits, and applications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (production, marketing, logistics, customer service) to ensure effective execution of commercial agreements.
  • Follow up on orders, promotions, and field initiatives in alignment with customer needs.
  • Perform any other related duties associated with the role.

Compétences recherchées

Work location

  • Greater Toronto Area (GTA)

POSITION PROFIL

  • Previous experience in sales or a similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of sales and marketing techniques
  • 5–7 years of experience in a similar position
  • Bilingualism (an asset) to communicate effectively with French- and English-speaking clients.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with computer tools, including Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
  • Experience managing industrial accounts (an asset)
