Job Description:

Full-time contract: 18-month

At Sun Life Financial, the Client is at the center of everything we do. As a CSC Senior Administrator, your work will directly contribute to our mission of helping clients achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier lives. In this role, you will play an integral role supporting members with asset consolidation needs and encouraging them to consult with a licensed consultant who can detail wealth and/or insurance solutions relevant to their personal situation.

You are a strong communicator, who possess superior customer service skills and consistently demonstrate professionalism.

You are able to demonstrate the flexibility to adapt within an ambiguous environment with shifting priorities. An Administrator uses active listening to understand our client’s unique situations and highlight the importance of receiving professional advice. As a member of the Client Solutions Centre (CSC) team, you will benefit from our culture of coaching and support in order to empower you to make a difference in our clients’ lives.

What will you do?

  • Assist Sun Life members of our Group Retirement plans and assist them with their transfer-in requests and RIF LIF setup by acting as the administrator who peer reviews supporting documents
  • You will peer review asset consolidation/RIF LIF forms and identify NIGOs
  • You will assign NIGOs to our consultants to contact members and help fix any issues
  • You will also follow up with other financial institutions to help facilitate the successful consolidation of external assets being transferred to Sun Life
  • Foster and participate in a work environment that values people, invites creativity, and celebrates learning
  • Contribute to the CSC's ongoing success by sharing feedback and providing insights that will help to improve our client experience

What do you need to succeed?

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build credibility and rapport
  • Experience in fast-paced administrative roles demonstrating ability to manage tight deadlines and high volumes
  • Knowledge/experience within the financial services industry
  • Knowledge of wealth savings, transfer-ins, retirement or insurance products
  • Ability to peer review documents, contact institutions, and handle other administrative tasks
  • Proficiency with computer systems, particularly Salesforce is an asset
  • Able to speak both English and French is an asset

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
