I am looking for a finance director for a company in the agricultural sector in Laval.
Your tasks will include:
-Preparing, analyzing, and presenting monthly and annual financial statements.
-Developing and monitoring the annual budget, ensuring that financial objectives are met.
-Implementing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency.
-Collaborating with the sales team to support business objectives and optimize profitability.
-Cost analysis.
-Participating in daily operations and proposing process improvements.
Work with salespeople to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.
-Supervise a team of approximately 10 people, including performance management and skills development.
-Prepare financial and operational reports for management.
Your profile:
-Member of the Quebec Order of Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) (mandatory)
-Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent
-Minimum 10 years of accounting experience
-Experience supervising employees
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (including advanced Excel) (an asset)
-Bilingual in French and English to interact with suppliers outside the province
