As Canada’s largest mental health care provider, the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health provides evidence to drive system and policy change through the implementation of innovations and novel service delivery interventions. The Research Operations, Services and Support (ROSS) Office is a central group within CAMH Research that provides administrative support to ensure that all research activities carried out at CAMH or by CAMH personnel comply with funder, governmental or institutional policies and regulations.

We are seeking a full-time, contract (1-year) Program Officer to support and coordinate key initiatives and processes related to project management, implementation and communications of major philanthropic gifts in research, including, but not limited to womenmindTM and the Women’s Health Research Cluster. Reporting to the Manager, Philanthropic Gifts in Research, and in close collaboration with the Manager, Research and Centres of Innovation Communications and the Communications and Partnership team, the incumbent will be responsible for planning and coordinating a range of projects that aim to disseminate health research to diverse audiences. You will leverage your direct experience in health research to conceptualize and create strategic high-quality communications and media content for a variety of print and electronic platforms. This role will lead event coordination, including in-person and online events. Writing and event support will be key activities in this role, as will building and maintaining relationships across the hospital and with stakeholders.
