About this opportunity:

The Supply Chain Management (SCM) Information Technology & Corporate team is seeking a Senior SCM Information Technology Contracts Advisor to lead end-to-end category management and sourcing activities for the IT Projects and Managed Services portfolio.

This role is accountable for developing and executing category and sourcing strategies, leading complex contract negotiations, managing supplier performance, and delivering measurable portfolio value. The Advisor acts as a trusted partner to Information Technology, internal stakeholders, and suppliers, and serves as a subject matter expert to support and mentor SCM peers.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead end-to-end sourcing and contracting for complex, high-value IT initiatives, including RFx execution, negotiation strategy, and award recommendations

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of IT agreements (e.g., software, hardware, cloud, managed services, and professional services), ensuring commercial value and risk mitigation

  • Develop and execute category strategies using spend data, business requirements, and market insights to drive value and optimize supplier outcomes

  • Collaborate with IT, Legal, Finance, Security, and other stakeholders to ensure contracts meet corporate, regulatory, and risk management requirements

  • Build and manage effective relationships with suppliers and their legal counsel to resolve contractual and commercial matters

  • Drive post-award value through contract management and supplier performance oversight

  • Support IT portfolio planning and budgeting to ensure continuity and security of supply

  • Ensure compliance with Supply Chain Management policies and applicable legal and regulatory requirements

  • Contribute to cross-functional SCM and enterprise initiatives and provide mentorship to team members

Who you are:

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:

  • Legal authority to work in Canada

  • Post-secondary degree in business, related discipline or equivalent relevant work experience

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in IT sourcing and contract negotiation

  • Demonstrated experience negotiating complex IT agreements, including software, hardware, cloud, and managed services

  • Proven ability to lead and execute complex sourcing initiatives, including RFx processes and negotiation strategies

  • Experience working with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and legal counsel to resolve commercial and contractual matters
