The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior Director – Practice, Delivery and Operations to lead the operational aspects of a €1B+ business across the Americas. This role is pivotal in driving excellence across Capability Building and Development, Optimizing Resource Pyramid, Delivery, Project & Risk Management, and Resource Supply Chain (Capacity Planning, Resource Management & Talent Acquisition).

 

Key Responsibilities:

This executive role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in managing large-scale, multi-site delivery operations. Experienced in managing a team responsible for driving profitable growth, overseeing enterprise architecture, and incubating innovation-led practices. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in business intelligence, analytics, and operational excellence.

 

Practice Management

  • Capability Building and Development: Lead, mature and evolve the practices to market trends, emerging skills and foster innovation to expand service offerings and technical capabilities.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Enablement: Collaborate with GTM teams to support and orchestrate strategic deals in application modernization and business transformation, ensuring alignment with client needs and market trends.
  • Optimizing Resource Pyramid: Strategically manage the resource pyramid to ensure optimal skill mix, cost efficiency, and scalability

 

 Delivery Excellence

  • Project Management: Deliver high-value, high-margin programs that accelerate innovation and new business models.
  • Risk Management: Optimize project risk profiles through robust operational and business risk frameworks.
  • Delivery Efficiency: Continuous Delivery and Margin Improvements through global frameworks, automation, GenAI and accelerators.

Resource Supply Chain

  • Capacity Planning: Align resource capacity with demand forecasts to ensure optimal staffing and delivery readiness.
  • Resource Management: Build and deploy a high-performing talent pool, ensuring the best match between skills and project needs.
  • Talent Acquisition: Attract, recruit, and retain top engineering talent through a streamlined and effective hiring engine.

Professional Qualifications

  • 15+ years of leadership experience in engineering, technology, and professional services.
  • Prior experience as senior delivery and operational executive in a global, matrixed organization.
  • Expertise in resource supply chain planning and execution.
  • Demonstrated experience in industrialization, lean management, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to design cost-effective operational models.
  • Experience in international delivery environments, especially with Indian and European teams.
  • People Management, capable in managing large teams
