SISIP FINANCIAL

A full suite of financial solutions, tailored to the realities of our Canadian Armed Forces Members and their families, is offered through the SISIP Financial division within CFMWS. In addition to conventional insurance, investment and financial advice products and services, we pride ourselves in delivering preventative financial education and, where required, counselling, to support our members’ financial wellbeing. SISIP Financial services are available to Canadian Armed Forces Members both virtually and in-person. We have 23 offices located in CAF communities across Canada. Our national office is located in Ottawa.

THE ROLE

As the SISIP Financial Engagement Manager, you would be a key member of the Experience Management (XM) team whose purpose is to improve member engagement and experience while driving business growth through the development of new processes, tools and campaigns.

Within your role, you would collaborate closely with other members of the SISIP XM team as well as the CFMWS Marketing team to execute on marketing campaigns while keeping subject matter experts and members of our advisory team involved and informed. You would be a primary user of our marketing automation platform, Customer Insights - Journeys, and use it to assist with the monitoring, maintenance and improvement of triggered member engagement journeys.

Other projects and responsibilities will include strengthening our network of local partners and publications through relationship building and process improvements, initiating an influencer/testimonial program, and conducting regular audits of our website content and digital assets to advise on updates and opportunities for improvement.

The successful candidate will have experience in the financial services industry and an understanding of sales and financial products. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM will be considered an asset.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Certifications and Licenses

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field AND some years of experience in financial services, marketing, customer data analysis or a related field

College Diploma or Certificate in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field AND several years of experience in financial services, marketing, customer data analysis or a related field

Experience

In developing marketing plans and strategies

In developing customer segment frameworks and applying them to specific markets

In developing and maintaining automated marketing activities

In providing leadership and strategic direction on issues specific to customer segmentation

In conducting market research and identifying business and marketing insights

In developing and applying policies and procedures

In monitoring compliance with policy, procedures, brand and/or regulatory requirements

In providing advice, guidance and recommendations

In planning and developing communication content and/or conducting presentations

In developing and managing partnerships

In synthesizing data and generating reports

In website strategy, review and maintenance

In using marketing automation or email marketing platforms

RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan, develop and support the implementation and evaluation of experience management and segment-based marketing activities.

Conduct research and analysis to identify profiles, behaviours, needs, preferences, market trends, and business insights in support of customer segmentation, key business initiatives and marketing opportunities across business lines.

Develop, prepare and/or deliver practices, processes, presentations, responses to inquiries, briefing materials, reports, and recommendations for action to stakeholders related to experience management and segment-based marketing insights.

This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.

Salary plus Employee Performance Plan.
