THE ROLE

The CANEX Digital Marketing Coordinator will support the planning, development, and execution of impactful member‑focused marketing campaigns across all digital channels. They will leverage the latest email marketing strategies to create automated customer journeys and weekly newsletters, and they will implement, publish, and measure engaging social content while supporting and collaborating with our ambassador program.

In this role, the Coordinator will play a key part in marketing analytics, including the use of GA4, reporting tools, and insight generation to guide data‑driven decision‑making. They will be responsible for testing and optimizing new content types across platforms and for planning and executing paid media initiatives. This includes proficiency in Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Spotify, ensuring campaigns are set up, optimized, and measured effectively to support brand growth.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

Education, Certifications and Licenses

College diploma or certificate in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field AND several years of experience in communications, or a related field

Experience

In producing member-focused marketing and communications content

In email marketing platform

In social media marketing

In search engine optimization (SEO)

In content marketing

In search engine marketing (SEM)

In project management

In marketing automation

In budget administration

In Mailchimp or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing, an asset

Competencies, Skills and Abilities

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

English or French Essential, Bilingual (English and French) an asset

OTHER INFORMATION

This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
