THE ROLE

Join the CAF Sports Team as our Corporate Communications Manager!

Do you live for the thrill of the game, on the field and behind the scenes?

CAF Sports is looking for a Corporate Communications Manager who can tell the stories that make our athletes, teams, and fans proud. From championship highlights to community impact, you’ll craft content that celebrates the strength, spirit, and sportsmanship of Canada’s military athletes.

This isn’t your typical corporate gig, it’s where communications meet competition. If you’ve got a passion for storytelling, a love of sport, and a drive to make every message matter, we want you on our team.

What You’ll Do

Develop and lead communications strategies that bring CAF Sports to life across Canada.

Write, edit, and create engaging content for web, social media, and print.

Build buzz for national sporting events, athlete stories, and community programs.

Partner with teams, coaches, and athletes to showcase their achievements.

Manage digital platforms, track engagement, and keep our storytelling game strong.

Collaborate across CFMWS to ensure every campaign reflects our shared mission.

What You Bring

Strong project management and collaboration skills (you’re a team player, through and through).

Experience with content creation, digital platforms, and brand storytelling.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

Education, Certifications and Licenses

College diploma or certificate in Communications, Marketing, Public/Media Relations, or a related field AND several years of experience in communications, public/media relations or in a related field

Experience

In managing, developing and executing communications plans

In planning, coordinating and delivering corporate materials

In assessing strategic communications approach and/or stakeholder engagement issues

In communications and public relations

In drafting and editing strategic communications and stakeholder engagement materials

In planning and conducting presentations and meetings

In conducting research and analysis

In writing for different audiences, including digital spaces

In working with graphics and/or promotional designers

In project management

In negotiating service contracts and working with various suppliers

In budget administration

In managing websites and content management systems

Competencies, Skills and Abilities

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

Bilingual Essential

Reading: Advanced Level

Writing: Functional Level

Oral: Advanced Level

OTHER INFORMATION

This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
