Your Opportunity
The Risk Management team at BDO is responsible for the development, execution and monitoring of the firm’s risk management and independence processes. We are seeking a coordinator to join our dynamic team of professionals. As a member of the Risk Management team, this individual will assist with the firm’s independence, conflict and compliance processes and provide guidance to our client facing professionals on these processes. This is a new role and the following responsibilities represent the main areas of focus for this role that will be further shaped by the skills, experience, and strengths of the successful candidate, allowing for flexibility in how the position evolves to best support the team:
- Assist with implementation of new global independence and conflict checking processes
- Perform significant data entry into BDO Global Entity Management System, with great attention to accuracy
- Provide guidance and training to client-serving teams on Conflict and Independence check processes
- Assist with updates to firm risk policies, processes, and tools, to ensure we continue to comply with regulator and BDO requirements both locally and globally
- Work with members of the Risk Management Team to ensure all internal inquiries and requests are addressed on a timely basis
- Take initiative on additional operational projects as priorities evolve, adapting to the firm’s changing needs
- Perform other projects related to Risk Management as required

Qualifications:
- You possess an undergraduate degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams)
- You are keen on keeping up to date with advancing technology in the workplace, and eager to apply AI technology to enhance current procedures and operations
- You have strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- You have the ability to prioritize workloads and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
The expected range of compensation for this role is $51,000-$77,000 annually.
