Direct Procurement Program Analyst - Temporary

Dynamic and detail-oriented, the Direct Procurement Program Analyst will support the procurement team in the end-to-end procurement process for direct materials and services procurement. This role is critical to ensuring cost-effective sourcing, compliance, and operational excellence in the procure-to-pay (P2P) cycle.

Responsibilities:

Lead adoption for all Direct Procure-to Pay programs (Legstate SmartDoc Direct Operating Costs platform, VMS…)

  • Execute wave plans to enable spend on SAP Fieldglass and SmartDoc to continuously grow spend and drive adoption of SAP Fieldglass and SmartDoc, company wide
  • Conduct detailed analysis of services and direct operating costs (DOC) to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction
  • Measure and communicate metrics, KPIs, baselines, targets and non-compliance to applicable teams and put in place remediation activities
  • Develop and deliver training programs for key stakeholders on best practices in direct procurement and P2P processes.

Legstate System Management

  • Manage and optimize SmartDoc to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of direct operating costs
  • Oversee the maintenance of the pricing engine data in collaboration with Legstate.
  • Establish a process to ensure timely updates of master data objects (rates, fleet, flight data, etc…) and collaborate with SP-Airside, Fleet Transactions and Airports branches to ensure accuracy of data
  • Collaborate with ODH team to ensure integrated operational data feeds are accurate and troubleshoot discrepancies
  • Monitor flight acceptance screen updates and communicate deviations
  • Increase efficiency of procurement operations, with a focus on streamlining, simplifying, and automating processes across the entire procure-to-pay cycle.
  • Lead configuration of SmartDoc to meet corporate needs and collaborate with Procurement Platforms and Information Technology to manage new releases.
  • Collaborate with IT and Procurement Platforms teams to ensure that technology solutions support efficient P2P processes and enhance user experience

Continuously identify and implement process improvements to create value and simplify business processes while minimizing risk in assigned area of responsibility

  • Support the strategy to continuously improve user experience, increase efficiency and drive automation.
  • Identify and execute improvement opportunities from People/Process/Technology perspective.
  • Continuously improve stakeholders experience and increase technology and process adoption.
  • Identify satisfaction measurements to guide improvement prioritization.
  • Collaborate with IT and procurement platforms teams to ensure that technology solutions. support efficient P2P processes and enhance user experience.
  • Stay abreast of Procure-to-Pay innovations.
  • Other related duties as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in relevant field of study (business, math, engineering, and supply chain)
  • 1-3 years experience in Procurement Operations & people management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience in Procurement and using Direct Procurement platforms, such as SAP Fieldglass, Beeline, SAP Ariba, SmartDoc etc is a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to exercise independent problem solving and decision making with initiative and self-coordination.
  • Project management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Collaboration, diplomacy, and tact are central to engaging, representing, and motivating various stakeholders with divergent perspectives, objectives, and interests.
  • Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.
