Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada (Onsite)
Starting Salary: $ 30.25/hour (with a 5-step progression to $33.63 per hour) with overtime opportunities as provided for in our collective agreement.
Shift premiums: Afternoon - $0.50 for each hour worked between 18:00 and 23:00. Midnight - $1.00 for each hour worked between 23:00 and 6:00.

Key Duties
- Lead a team of Station Attendants responsible for the efficient aircraft ground handling and baggage processing, while ensuring safe and on-time performance.
- Provide direction, guidance, coaching and assistance while ensuring effective communication.
- Uphold company standards by consistently applying safety protocols and fostering a safety-oriented culture within your team.
- Make timely and effective decisions in a rapidly changing environment.
- Ensure timely and accurate handling of baggage, including loading, offloading, and fulfilling connections between flights.
- Coordinate with the Connections team to facilitate smooth and efficient baggage transfers, especially during tight connection windows.
- Deliver exceptional customer experience, and ensure efficient, on-time performance.
- Marshalling or towing aircraft to gate positions for customer boarding and deplaning, as well as onloading and offloading of baggage and cargo.
- Drive and operating aircraft servicing vehicles and equipment.
- Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of airport and/or airside operations
- Strong leadership qualities and communication skills to delegate and carry out time-critical tasks
- Maintain a strong commitment to safety while adhering to established standards and protocols
- A valid driver’s license (driving heavy equipment on the airside will be required)
- Ability to lift 70lbs repetitively
- Availability to attend and successfully pass an eight (8) to ten (10) weeks full-time paid training program
- Availability to work rotating shift patterns over a 24-hour period (including weekends and holidays)
- Ability to meet Air Canada medical standards, including a drug and alcohol test
- Ability to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations. Please refer to Transport Canada site for more details.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the country of interest, at the time any offer of employment is made and seeking any required work permits/visas or other authorizations which may be required is the sole responsibility of the candidates applying for this position
