Description
- (Internal Title: Manager, Environmental Health & Safety)
- In conjunction with Metrolinx, develop strategies to ensure HSW industry standards are adopted across all contracts.
- Collaborate and influence the Metrolinx client team to implement and maintain program, systems, and procedures to achieve cross contract area best-in-class HSW practice
- Advises the MCS Head of Health, Safety & Wellbeing on strategic HSW matters
- To champion program-wide health and safety initiatives and drive their implementation with the alliance partners
- Collaborate and advise the client and stakeholders on strategic matters of HSW
- Supporting and driving a dynamic lesson learnt and business improvement process for HSW across the program
- Produce required reports and input data (reporting protocols and potential admin assistance for data input and development of reports)
- Assure the delivery of HSW initiatives
- Develop training / presentations / briefing packages and deliver to appropriate target audience based on their role / responsibilities within the programs
- Providing support to all Go Expansion teams and Contractors to resolve any HSW Technical and process issues may arise
- Works with respective functional managers for development of risk profile and strategies for mitigation
