  • (Internal Title: Senior Cost Lead)
    • Responsible for change order governance, contractor negotiations, and contingency management, ensuring cost integrity across General Contractor scopes and major trade packages for a GW data center campus.
    • Lead change order review and validation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Meta standards.
    • Manage monthly Owner Change Orders in alignment with approved budgets and forecasts.
    • Support GC negotiations, collaboration terms, and contractual cost discussions.
    • Evaluate impacts to contingency utilization, risk exposure, and cost trends.
    • Partner with construction and commercial teams to mitigate cost risks.
    • Provide leadership insight into cost drivers and financial exposure.
    • Lead a team of approximately six (6) cost managers responsible for projects within the data center campus.
    • Critical for controlling cost growth and contingency drawdown on Mega Campus projects with complex GC and trade environments.
    • Develop a plan for integrated project controls including scope, cost, schedule, and progress of assigned projects based on industry’s best practices and by incorporating client’s requirements when required
    • Facilitate the change management process and continuously forecast project schedule and cost impacts
    • Establish the resources and organization (skills, manpower, list of tools and procedures applicable, and communications) needed to achieve the control strategy to ensure the consistent implementation of the project control system for all projects
    • Formulate the overall Project Breakdown Structure to meet all control requirements and ensure that cost control and scheduling systems are compatible
    • Determine training materials needed to train project teams on the principles of schedule, cost, risk, and earned value management, and plan and procedures
    • Draft a detailed monthly report by gathering progress details through the collection and verification of information. Coordinate a management review and issue the report by the agreed deadline each month including cost, schedule, earned value, change control, contract administration, third-party recoveries, contingency utilization, and progress photos
    • Complete any tasks assigned by the supervisor in an efficient and timely manner
  • WORKING CONDITIONS
    • Remote, with some occasional travel to the U.S.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of related experience on large capital projects
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Data Analytics or another cost / construction focused
  • Must have experience in Quantity Surveying
  • Registered for and seeking AACE CCP, CEP, PSP, PRMP, EVP, or PMI equivalent
  • Has completed equivalent training or successfully passed designated proficiency testing in lieu of the above

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

  • Experience working in hyper-scale data centers is a plus
  • Thorough and complete knowledge of the construction process and management techniques, methods, and materials.
  • Proficient in the use of advanced functions in CostX to produce estimates, bills, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook & PowerPoint) at an appropriate level
  • Comprehensive knowledge of practices and procedures involved in project controls, with proven experience in the construction process
  • In-depth understanding of Business Administration concepts with emphasis on scheduling principles combined with a good knowledge of budget and cost control concepts
  • Excellent competency in MRP systems including MAXIMO and EcoSys, WorkDay, is considered an asset
  • Demonstrated experience with systems including extensive relational database design concepts and spreadsheets to correlate operational and financial data (Sr Level)
  • In-depth experience in computer-based scheduling systems (Primavera P6 and MS Project)
  • Solid understanding of core project control concepts (WBS, RBS, CBS, CPM-based scheduling, and Earned Value)
  • Ability to arrange priorities and escalate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimum input from leadership
  • Keen eye for detail and adept problem-solving abilities
  • Must have demonstrated experience relaying and receiving technical information (written and verbal)
  • Must foster positive relationships with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Independently tailor technical information for different audiences through presentations, reports, and other means
  • Expert ability to work collaboratively and independently in a structured, disciplined, technology-driven environment

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role. It does not represent a maximum limit - in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.

Role Location Annual Salary Range

Ontario $170,000 to $220,000
