You are:

An experienced, hands-on Data & AI Engineer with deep hands-on expertise in SnowFlake and Azure data services to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines. You’ll work closely with analytics, data science, and cloud teams to ensure reliable, high-performance data delivery for the clients we serve. Designing and implementing Enterprise Data Architecture, Enterprise Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and enforce standards for conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

  • Align data models with enterprise architecture, governance, and business domain requirements.

  • Lead and review modeling work to ensure quality, performance, and scalability.

  • Translate business needs into well-structured data designs for analytics and applications.

  • Maintain metadata, lineage, and data integrity across platforms.

  • Oversee project planning, documentation, and delivery of modeling components.

  • Mentor and guide data modelers and data engineers on best practices and modeling techniques.

Qualifications

What you need:

  • 6-8 years of experience with data modelling techniques and methodologies (conceptual, logical, physical, dimensional, Data Vault).

  • 4-6 years of Hands-on experience with data quality tools and processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and lineage.

  • 4-6 years of proven expertise in defining and applying data taxonomy, data standards, and naming conventions.

  • 4-6 years of experience translating business needs into scalable models aligned with broader AI & Data strategy.

  • 4-6 years of proven proficiency with industry modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, ER/Studio, dbt, PowerDesigner).

  • 4-6 years of deep understanding of data architecture patterns, integration flows, and metadata management.

  • 4-6 years of experience of Data Architect experience.

  • 4-6 years of experience Cloud Platform experience, Cloud Data Warehouse with SnowFlake

  • 4-6 years of experience strong communication skills to collaborate with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders.

  • This role will require 3 days per week at the local Mississauga office or a client site located in the Greater Toronto Area. Preferred hiring locations for this role are Toronto and Mississauga.

Bonus points if you have experience with:

  • Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and modern Lakehouse architectures.

  • Working knowledge of machine learning feature engineering and how data models support AI workloads.

  • Ability to automate modeling-related tasks using Python, SQL, or data modeling automation frameworks.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired in British Columbia as set forth below.

British Columbia $61,800 to $167,000
