West Park Health Care Centre offers an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Psychologist to join our team.

The rehabilitation and complex continuing care services offer a variety of practice settings in which Psychology team members are an integral part of recovery for our patients. The respiratory rehabilitation program is a fully mature clinical, teaching and research program which specializes in pulmonary rehabilitation, long term ventilation and tuberculosis. The Respiratory Rehabilitation Research Program includes masters and doctoral level candidates. Within this Program there is increasing interest in the coexisting challenges of physical and mental health in patients with chronic respiratory conditions. The Long Term Ventilation Service houses the largest in-patient program in Canada. UHN- West Park Healthcare Centre promotes multidisciplinary teams, encourages collaborative care, and fosters excellence.

Psychology services at West Park includes practitioners who are credentialed in Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology. Psychologists work closely within a consultative model within in the organization to provide holistic care to our patients. Acting as a collaborative member of the multi-disciplinary team, the Psychologist provides assessments, identifies interventions and provides recommendations for patients who have experienced a life altering injury or illness.

The Psychologist position is a 0.8FTE.
