The Division of Medical Oncology and Hematology (DMOH) is an academic and service unit within the Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto and Princess Margaret Cancer Centre/University Health Network (UHN) and Sinai Health System (SHS).

The Allogeneic Transplant Program seeks to identify a Physician Assistant to join our vibrant world class multidisciplinary team to provide outstanding care to our transplant patients.

The Allogeneic Transplant Program at Princess Margaret Hospital is the largest blood and bone marrow transplant program in Canada and one of the largest programs in North America. We are leaders in the field, highly active in research and development, and offer many opportunities for professional growth within the program.

The PA will be based at the Princess Margaret Hospital, and function within DMOH while providing care in a multidisciplinary team setting. The PA will focus on improving equitable access to outpatient standard of care as per treatment guidelines, participate in medication adherence and monitoring optimization strategies, deliver quality patient-focused care, and evaluate and manage therapy-related symptoms. The PA will be offered training and educational opportunities both at orientation and on an ongoing basis. The PA will work in a supervised capacity with opportunity to develop more independence over time. The PA will have opportunities for participation in patient education and quality improvement. There will also be an expectation to develop their potential as a leader and teacher in DMOH.
