Position Summary
The Junior Clerk supports patient meal service operations within Nutrition Services by ensuring accurate and timely processing of patient diet orders, meal selections and meal service information. Responsibilities include collecting meal preferences from patients, entering and updating patient information within the Computrition system, preparing meal service reports and tickets, and supporting daily diet office operations. The Junior Clerk works collaboratively with Administrative Dietetic Technicians, Supervisors, Food Service Associates, clinical units and other members of the Nutrition Services team to support safe, efficient and patient-centred meal service delivery. The position may be scheduled at the UHN Reactivation Care Centre (RCC) based on operational requirements.
