Position Summary

As an integral member of the inter-professional team, the Genetic Counsellor Assistant (GCA) supports the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred genetic services in accordance with established standards, policies, and evidence-based practices.

The UHN Genetics Program provides genetic assessment, counselling, and testing services to individuals and families with, or at risk for, inherited conditions. The Genetic Counsellor Assistant will work closely with genetic counsellors embedded within specialty clinical programs to support patient care, facilitate coordination of genetic services, and contribute to the efficient management of clinical workflows.
