In addition to working with our customers, you will also regularly engage with other team members, sales, technical support, and engineering. /pulliPerform on-site installation, repair, maintenance, qualification, and validation of optical emission spectroscopy, x-ray florescence, and x-ray diffraction systems./liliUse customer management software to track service calls, manage parts inventories, and complete job tasks./liliInspect malfunctioning products, analyze inspection findings to determine source of problem, and recommends repair, replacement, or other corrective action./liliProvide a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that effective service is provided to the customer./liliDevelop and conduct training on the safe operations of the equipment and demonstrates skills to trainees, including both team members and customers./li/ulp/ppbWho are we looking for?/b/ppbMINIMUM EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE/b/pulliHigh school diploma and 3 years equivalent experience. Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences, Engineering or related field is strongly preferred./lili3 or more years hands-on experience as a Service Engineer, particularly working with analytical instrumentation. Working experience with optical emission spectroscopy, x-ray florescence, and x-ray diffraction is a strong plus./li/ulp/ppbPROFICIENCIES /b/pulliCustomer/business-oriented./liliTechnical knowledge of scientific equipment or related technology based equipment./liliEffective communication skills and ability to establish good customer rapport are essential./liliAbility to prioritize service requests and produce clear and concise documentation/liliAbility to work independently within a customer location.
