Job Description

Pay Range: $80,000 - $110,000

Position Purpose:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Community Investment, the Manager, Fundraising provides strategic leadership for supplier and vendor fundraising, partnering closely with internal stakeholders to grow sustainable revenue in support of the Foundation’s mission to prevent and end youth homelessness across Canada.

This role is the Foundation’s primary lead for supplier and vendor driven fundraising, responsible for designing and executing national strategies that engage suppliers through compelling value propositions and marquee fundraising events. A strong collaborator and storyteller, the Manager mobilizes internal partners to activate supplier fundraising opportunities that deliver strong financial results while deepening supplier relationships.

The role also supports strong governance, financial stewardship, and compliance, and serves as a key liaison with vendors, event partners, and the Foundation’s Board of Directors.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Supplier & Vendor Fundraising

  • Lead the supplier and vendor fundraising strategy, accountable for annual results exceeding $9M in revenue annually.
  • Align supplier fundraising with corporate priorities, brand values, and the Foundation’s charitable focus.
  • Partner with internal teams (merchandising, marketing, leadership) to identify and scale supplier fundraising opportunities.
  • Articulate clear supplier value propositions linking community impact, visibility, and shared purpose.

Marquee Events & Experiences

  • Provide strategic leadership for the Foundation’s signature supplier-facing events: Spring Gala, Community Build(s), and Charity Classic.
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery to ensure strong financial outcomes, exceptional partner experience, and operational excellence.
  • Lead planning and execution of Foundation trip experiences to deepen supplier and stakeholder engagement in support of fundraising goals.

Internal Collaboration & Supplier Stewardship

  • Serve as the primary fundraising partner to internal stakeholders, enabling confident, compliant supplier engagement.
  • Build and steward strong national supplier and vendor partnerships, positioning the Foundation as a trusted, high-impact partner.
  • Deliver compelling impact storytelling, stewardship, and reporting, informed by supplier insights and performance data.

Governance & Operations

  • Maintain effective operational processes for supplier fundraising, including financial controls, reporting, and data integrity.
  • Provide people leadership for vendor fundraising resources, including direct supervision of the Vendor Fundraising Specialist

Experience & Knowledge Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; CFRE designation considered an asset.
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in fundraising, corporate partnerships, supplier engagement, or non-profit leadership.
  • Demonstrated success leading supplier- or partner-driven fundraising initiatives, including large-scale fundraising events.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing direct reports.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
  • Solid knowledge of CRA receipting rules and charitable compliance in Canada.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and influence skills, with comfort engaging senior leaders, suppliers, associates, and partners.
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
