Manager, Interconnected Merchandising
Key Responsibilities:
Define and evolve online merchandising strategy, structure, and processes
Establish cross-functional alignment to address gaps and opportunities for continuous improvement
Drive incremental online sales through e-commerce functionality enablement in partnership with merchandising

Use strategic thinking to see the big picture, identify problems, and understand their core components
Facilitate problem-solving sessions with multiple groups
Synthesize findings, draw conclusions from analysis, and make oral/written recommendations to upper management
Execute tasks related to core online merchandising projects and process improvements
Actual Responsibilities:
Partner with e-commerce teams to prioritize, develop, and implement online tools and functionality to enhance category shopping experienceExample: SSKU & Virtual Bundles
Collaborate with supply chain teams to integrate online assortment strategy with network development, fulfillment optimization, and customer delivery experienceExample: DFC productivity & offboarding, Merch/SC planning sessions, Vendor Escalation Process
Act as liaison between Online Merchant team and cross-functional teams for issue resolution
Establish metrics and reporting to measure progress against strategic goals such as online assortment growth, new article sales, and productivityExample: Onboarding targets Online performance targets
Build and maintain cross-functional relationships across the organization and ensure effective communication and coordination with teams and senior leadershipExample: Lead weekly OM meetings, Steerco meetings, share-out Interconnected Projects for alignment, Merch Alignment, eCom Quarterly KPI meetings, SLT initiatives
Experience / Knowledge Required:
Internal candidates must meet minimum time-in-position (1 year) and performance management code requirements (M+, Meets expectations, Consistently demonstrates)
Ability to build and maintain strong partnerships with merchants, suppliers, and cross-functional groups
Establish formal and informal networks to achieve goals
Effectively drive results across multiple financial metrics through goal setting, measurement, and follow-up
Strong analytical problem-solving skills with structured thinking and adaptability to new approaches
Ability to simplify and present complex information clearly using appropriate communication methods
Skilled in preparing and delivering well-organized presentations with polished delivery and impactful visuals
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
Attention to detail
Outstanding customer service skills for both internal and external customers
Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to work independently
Office from Monday through Thursday (1 Concorde Gate, North York)
