Description
Summary of Duties:
The Neurophysiology Technologist performs PSG analysis, daytime sleep studies, sleep lab administrative tasks and overnight PSG studies as assigned in outpatients. Duties also include in-house training for students, new hires and can include participation in research activities.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Registered Sleep Technologist, RPSGT Registration preferred
- Experience in EMG and/or EEG neurophysiology an asset
- Skills in respiratory Therapy an asset
- Skills in EP an asset
- Strong technical and organizational skills required
- Strong computer and technical skills an asset
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to the team and Patient Focused Care
- Ability to work weekday, weekend, nights
