Reports to: Senior Manager, Information Systems
Existing Vacancy: Yes
Duration: 18 months (with the possibility of extension)

What we are looking for/Position Overview
Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Information Systems, the Data Analyst will use their excellent technical skills to provide high quality data automation, extract, upload, data integrity and other type of data support to contribute to the Foundation’s fundraising goals.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst you will:
- Respond to IS requests in a timely fashion with data accuracy and integrity
- Creatively use technology to develop and maintain automated processes to minimize repetitive manual work
- Interact with business teams to understand their objectives, processes, challenges and opportunities in terms of data and analysis and provide support
- Extract data as requested by business teams to support their fundraising objectives
- Manage data uploads and imports and ensure accuracy and completeness
- Manage mailing and suppression lists as requested
- Ensure timely creation of data elements in the CRM and ensure data accuracy
- Manage ongoing integrity checks that are established as well as make recommendations for new ones to ensure cleanliness of database
- Train new staff and develop ongoing training for staff in the use of the CRM, including queries, exports, customized reports, etc.
- Creatively find and implement improvements to existing processes
- Update system documentation as needed
Qualifications and Competencies
Below are qualifications and competencies we believe the successful candidate will need for this role:
- A bachelor’s degree, diploma or relevant experience; specialty in Information Systems Management, Database Administration or Computer Science (or similar)
- Three years experience working in database administration or information systems management, preferably in fundraising sector
- Excellent knowledge of relational databases and reporting
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server Integrations Services
- Superior knowledge and experience with SQL Server, Python and/or .NET
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Keen attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working with large datasets
- Proficient skills in the utilization of APIs and processing the results from API calls.
- Ability to work on various requests concurrently and produce results under varying degrees of urgency
- Experience working with CRMs is an asset
- Knowledge and experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is an asset
Total Rewards Package
The hiring range for this position is $65,000-73,000. The salary will be determined based on the successful candidate’s years of experience, qualifications and competencies that are relevant to this position.
In addition to salary, our competitive compensation package also includes, HOOPP (Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan), hybrid work environment with a minimum of two (2) days in office and additional Sunny Days (long weekend closures in advance of summer long weekends and Christmas Eve).
