Starting Date: September 2025. 2-day new hire orientation will take place Aug 25 & 26

Closing Date: June 23, 2025

Annual Salary: $80,000 - $100,000

St. George’s School seeks an energetic and innovative professional to serve as the Admissions Associate - Boarding Outreach. This role focuses on driving boarding enrollment through strategic business development, particularly by strengthening relationships with educational agents and expanding our global network of partners.

As a key member of our dynamic and collaborative Admissions Team, the successful candidate will be a results-driven relationship builder with a deep understanding of international recruitment. They will convey St. George’s unique educational philosophy and the value of boarding to prospective families and partners in a compelling and culturally attuned manner.

This role also includes occasional support for day student admissions and school-wide events, ensuring strong collaboration across the department.

Responsibilities will include:

Recruitment & Outreach

  • Serve as the primary contact for national and international boarding inquiries.
  • Develop and grow our global network of educational agents and international partners.
  • Design and execute targeted outreach and travel strategies to generate mission-appropriate boarding applications.
  • Plan and lead international and domestic recruitment events, including agent training, school fairs, and partnership visits.
  • Host on-campus visits for prospective boarding families, agents, and other key stakeholders.
  • Track and analyze travel data to inform future recruitment efforts and maximize impact.

Admissions & Enrollment Support

  • Conduct interviews and assessments for prospective students and families.
  • Review and evaluate applications, and recommend candidates for admission.
  • Maintain applicant records and ensure timely communication throughout the admissions cycle.
  • Oversee documentation related to international student study permits.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Admissions and Boarding Admissions Advisor to meet enrollment targets.
  • Support Day Admissions initiatives, events, and file review as needed.

Business Development & Market Strategy

  • Identify and cultivate new markets and recruitment pipelines aligned with the School’s enrollment goals.
  • Work closely with the Director of Admissions to set and assess boarding growth strategies.
  • Stay informed on international education trends and shifts in global mobility, advising the team accordingly.

Research & Analysis

  • Contribute to data-driven planning and forecasting in support of long-term admissions goals.
  • Coordinate market research and competitor analysis to sharpen recruitment strategies.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of processes, events, and communications.



The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience required.
  • A background in independent education with 1-2 years of admissions & recruitment experience preferred. Understanding & knowledge of the international education landscape, & secondary school culture is an asset and/or business development preferred
  • A commitment to business & market development, with an understanding of sales or recruitment strategies.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational ability & administrative skills with an attentiveness to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple deadlines, respond quickly & effectively to unexpected opportunities & challenges, & deliver favourable results.
  • Effective interpersonal skills & attitudes, including a high standard of professionalism & a strong sense of ethics.
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity & awareness.
  • Enjoy working in a small team-based environment
  • The ability to represent the School professionally with both external & internal audiences.
  • Excellent command of the English language - both written & oral. Proficiency in other languages is considered an asset.
  • Must be enthusiastically able to travel - regionally, nationally, & internationally.
  • Comfort/proficiency in using databases/technology to accomplish your work.
  • Willing & able to work occasionally evenings & Saturdays as needed to support the admissions process & events.

  • Must be already authorized to work in Canada.
