Location: Downtown Toronto - Hybrid (3 days in office)

Hourly Pay Range: $33/- to $44/-

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for generating quality web materials that will attract visitors to their organization's website.
• Responsible for developing new pages for the website, and they may need to edit content from existing webpages as well.
• Help host and manage images and other visual elements to go along with written materials, as well as ensure that search engine optimization (SEO) best practices are followed.
• An understanding of SEO techniques, and the ability to interpret requirements into web experiences are needed.
• Often work with other content producers within their organization, excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills are required.
• Work with marketing and UX designers to ensure consistency.
• Write, edit, and develop web site content.
• Gather user feedback for website improvement and enhancements.

Must Have Skills:

• 2+ years hands-on experience in web production or web operations, specifically building web pages using a Content Management System (CMS)
• Experience using components within a design system to create website experiences
• Understanding of common SEO practices, editing and updating metadata and other technical aspects of SEO performance
• Keen attention to detail, strong ability to translate requirements into execution

Nice to Have Skills:

• Familiarity Figma and/or with front end development languages (HTML, CSS, JS, React) not mandatory but a strong plus
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, business, or a relevant field of study is preferred.
