Our client is seeking a Senior Technical Analyst to provide application administration and Tier 2/3 support for a multi-year COTS implementation.

Join a project supporting enterprise implementation and sustainment of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications for a major mining organization. This hands-on role focuses on system configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination across desktop and SaaS applications. The position includes ownership of license management and operational support across an existing portfolio of enterprise systems. This long-term engagement offers visibility across infrastructure, security, and application teams managing critical technology platforms.

1 year Contract, preference is for candidate in Saskatoon to work hybrid. Will consider candidates outside of Saskatchewan who live in Western Canada.

Must Haves

• Experience as an IT technical analyst providing application administration and support during a COTS implementation and sustainment
• Hands-on experience with vendor-led deployments and being the liaison between business and technical teams.
• Strong in system configuration, administration, tier 2/3 support, and troubleshooting for complex systems used by field personal
• Experience supporting users and testing (UAT)
• Experience in software license management and vendor coordination
• Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting platforms like SAP, ServiceNow, Deswik, or MineSight
• Experience working with field
• Experience managing multiple enterprise applications simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Perform system configuration, setup, and troubleshooting for enterprise COTS applications
• Support environment setup for development, test, and production
• Execute system integration activities including APIs, data flows, and file transfers
• Provide post-implementation application administration and Tier 2/3 support
• Monitor system performance, uptime, and user experience
• Manage vendor releases, patches, updates, and license compliance
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and deliver enhancements
